Kensington *picture overload*

Today we took the boys to Kensington Metro Park. First to the petting zoo and then to the beach. They really liked the animals today. Dylan was first to want to pet them. You will not believe it but we let them touch the animals today! Shocking I know! Kensington has a hand sanitizing station near one of the barns for people like us! Ha ha! I took lots of pictures today still trying out my new lens. Noah's outfit is brown and Dylan's is green. Don't you think the boys are looking more like Adam?

Howell City Park

We met Gram, Papa, Diane, Keller, and Lily for a picnic dinner and playing at the beach tonight. The boys had a great time playing in the sand. Dylan helped keller carry water from the lake to a hole they were filling up. It was so cute watching him spill a little water every time he took a step. He only dropped the bucket a couple times.

Here are some pictures I took tonight using my new lens. I'm sad I did not get any pictures of Lily tonight. She was busy swimming and some times kicking her feet. I need more pictures of you next time Lily!

After a talk with my friend Kristi I decided it was time for my boys to get their first hair cuts. After all, Kristi's twins are the same age as Noah and Dylan and have already had 3 hair cuts. We took them to the lady that cuts both mine and Adam's hair. The boys have seen her every couple months since they were born. I talked about it all day telling them they were getting a hair cut. Adam went first and they watched. When he was done we asked who wanted to go first and of coarse Noah was eager to get in the chair. He did very good and did not cry. Next was Dylan's turn and he did very well too. You will see he did pout a little but no crying from him either. The curls had to be cut for their hair to be even. They look to grown up now! Maybe they will still have a little curl left. Dylan's hair looked like it might have a little. It is still too early to tell. I'm happy I had it cut because it really does look better.

pacifier and bees!

Well the day started off with Noah grabbing a book about bees. He was very interested. Never has been before today. The book even went with us in the car. I was driving with the windows down and a bee flew in!! It landed on my leg! Eek! I of coarse freaked out. Luckily, I did not drive off the road! I flung it somewhere and have not seen it since. Maybe I killed it or decided it needed to hurry up and hide from the crazy screaming lady. THEN, tonight I stepped on a bee in the kitchen. I HATE the feel of stuff on the wood floor and stepping on it with bare feet (I am a compulsive sweeper). It was still alive but I did not get stung. I quickly grabbed something and killed it. Now I am sitting here wondering if it was the same bee and it was with me all day?!?! NO......

We were at my mom's today playing. Dylan found a pacifier (one of Elle's). I have not been able to get it away from him. It fell out at nap so I snatched it and put it up. He found it when he woke up! It was on the kitchen counter and he somehow got it down. At dinner he did not eat because he wanted the pacifier. They have not had pacifiers in over a year. I am going to take it while he is asleep tonight. I hope he forgets about it tomorrow. If not Adam will be listening to his crying (real crocodile tears) because I have to work! Ha ha!

Beach

Today Kristi invited us to go to the beach with her, Tyler, and Brady. It was just a short drive down the road. We could actually walk there but I had to much stuff to bring so we drove. The weather was perfect....not too hot and not too cold (something I very rarely say). I was really surprised the boys went in the water. They seem to have my love for the beach! Yeah!! So, we stayed at the beach for a while then played at the playground. After that we had another picnic. All 4 boys ate great today! It is cute so see them interact with each other. I wonder if they realize they are 2 sets of twins? It is hard to tell what they think at this age.

I got to use Kristi's lens. I want this lens for my camera. (My birthday is coming up in a few weeks! *hint, hint*) :) Look how great these pictures turned out. I am really starting to like photography now that I know what my camera can do. Thanks Kristi for showing me!
