Wow! It has been over one month since I last posted.
We moved into our new house 3 weeks ago. We all LOVE the house and being closer to family. Its great to be back in the same town we grew up in. Noah and Dylan really like the yard. A favorite activity is riding their bikes or ride on toys. We also put up a swing set in the back yard that is still a work in progress. The basement is a huge play room.
As most of you know the boys have asthma. It could be hereditary but most likely it is because they were premature. Hopefully they will out grow it by the time they are 5. When they catch a cold they often get sicker than most kids. Almost every cold they have had they have needed
steroids and breathing treatments to help them breathe. Noah has even had pneumonia. We are trying to keep them off medications at least for the summer. They have been on
preventative steroids since they were 9 months old. Long term
steroid use can lead to additional medical problems down the road. It is rare but still we want to avoid the risk if possible. We ask that if you are ill or someone in your immediate family is ill you visit us at another time. Also, if you know you have been exposed to someone not feeling well please visit us at another time. The allergist has also advised the boys avoid cigarette smoke. Exposure to smoke can make the asthma symptoms worse if they do happen to catch a cold. I know to some this may seem drastic. We are just trying to keep our little boys healthy.
We have a busy weekend. On Saturday my uncle Alan is getting married. We look forward to welcoming Lorna into our family. We went to Janie and Jack today and got the
cutest outfits for the wedding. Different outfits for each boy but everything is from the airplane line. I'll post a picture of them next week. On Sunday we have my cousin Emily's graduation party. I can't believe she graduated from high school. It makes me feel like I am getting old.
Next weekend we have a graduation party and
Balloonfest! I am so excited to see what the boys will think of 50 + hot air balloons. The
WHMI balloon flew over our house last night. They were yelling "
BBbbaaaaa Bbbbaaaaa!!!!"
I promise to post new pictures soon!
