Noah and Dylan must have arms of rubber because they can stretch and reach things they should not be able to reach. I left the room today for 1 minute. When I came out they had grabbed a plate off the counter, threw it down, and it broke. Dylan had a piece of it in his mouth!! Noah was holding a piece. I grabbed all the pieces and put them up. I kind of pieced it back together.....there was a large piece missing. I could not find anymore parts of the plate anywhere.
I had to make sure they did not swallow the missing piece. I decided to take them to urgent care where I work for x rays. I called Amy who happened to be in the area and had some free time. She went with us to help me. If it was not for her I would have had to go alone because Adam was busy.
Dylan was terrified of the x ray machine. He screamed and cried "mama" the whole time and for 5 minutes after he was done.
They were x rayed from the neck down to their legs. Luckly, the missing piece is not inside of them. Adam will be pulling all the appliances out this evening! I have to find it!!
I still don't understand how they managed to get the plate down. I am so happy they are ok.
